2006 Rose Parade - The Separation Of Eubanks And Edwards

What's up with Bob Eubanks and Stephanie Edwards no longer together in the broadcast booth for this years Rose Parade?  I realize that every year stories appear about tension between the two and that they don't necessarily get along that well, but those two providing commentary on local KTLA is as much a tradition as the parade itself.  I can't remember a parade without them side by side.

Turning on the T.V. this morning and seeing Stephanie Edwards out of the booth and down on the street was a bigger surprise than rain on the parade.
